With our new Bulk Pricing feature, we have eliminated the need for our customers to manually adjust prices individually. Putting all of your Used Pickups on sale this Saturday now only takes a few simple mouse clicks. Even better, you can bring the prices back to their normal values just as easily.

Getting Started with Bulk Pricing
For this tutorial, I am going to act like Nissan just issued a $1,000 manufacturer discount on Altima S and SL models. I would like to take that $1,000 off of each vehicle's MSRP and save it to the List Price field.Step 1 - Set Filter

Set the Nissan filter in AIMS |
The first thing we need to do is open AIMS and filter on vehicles for which we want to change pricing. Here I have selected Active, New, Nissan, Alitma, 2.5 S and SL Trims. Click the Update button to commit the filter.
Step 2 - Open Bulk Pricing Tool and Set Rule

The proper rule setup |
When the Bulk Pricing interface first loads, we are asked to define a rule for this set of vehicles. A rule consists of options to add or subtract an absolute dollar or percentage amount. We must also select a Source price and a Save To price.
In order to set up our example rule for the Altimas, we do the following.
When the rule is properly configured, click the Preview button. This will open a screen where we can review all the changes that will be made to the List Price fields for each vehicle.
In order to set up our example rule for the Altimas, we do the following.
- Select "Subtract (-)".
- Type "1000" in the amount field.
- Select "Dollars ($)".
- Select "MSRP" as Source.
- Select "List Price" as Save To.
Step 3 - Preview and Save Changes

The preview screen also shows summary information, such as how many vehicles match the filter and how many vehicle will be affected by the rule. Vehicles will not be affected by the rule if any of the following are true:
- Resultant price drops to 0 or less
- Resultant price doesn't change
- Source price is 0
After reviewing the prices on the preview screen, we click Save to commit them.
Voila! In three very simple steps we have just applied incentive pricing to 21 new cars. It is such a breeze compared to the old manual way.
If we wanted to revert this pricing when the incentive ends, we would simply change the rule a bit: Add $1000, Source: List Price, Save To: List Price. It's as simple as that.
