Keep it simple, keep it quick, keep it predictable. The AutoSweet team has been using this mantra to improve the workflow for Sales Managers in our Inventory Management Sweet. We've listened to much customer feedback to drive these changes and we hope you are as happy with the results as we are. After a few weeks of effort, we are now ready to release the changes into the wild.
Of special note is the way SweetPricing has evolved. Now you can do more in less time with our Bulk Pricing Tool. Quickly make changes so you can stay ahead of market pressures or run a special without jumping through hoops! Read on for the details.
New Bulk Pricing Feature
Bulk Pricing Rule Creation |
Here is the great time-saving feature many have been waiting for - the Bulk Pricing Tool. Never again will you have to individually adjust your Used inventory pricing by $500 for your weekend sales events. Nor will you have to take $1500 off each one of your New vehicle MSRP's due to a new manufacturer incentive. We've created a dead simple, yet powerful way for Sales Managers to adjust vehicle pricing in bulk. Read the Bulk Pricing Quick Start to find out more.
Added Update Button to AIMS Filter List
New AIMS filter Update button |
Previously, there was a "Clear" button in the top right corner of the filters list. We found that this button wasn't used very much and people thought it was awkward to click the background to set the filters. So we pulled the plug on the lonely Clear button and added a more explicit and usable Update button. This will alleviate some confusion about how to commit the filters when you are done changing them.
Quick Search Improvements
Quick Search Bar |
We have been asked some questions about the new AIMS Quick Search feature and why it does not search across all inventory. As designed, it only searched across Active (non-sold, non-deleted) inventory. We have discovered that most people are using the Quick Search to find vehicles based on VIN or Stock Number rather than colors or options (did you know you could do that?). When searching by VIN or Stock Number users don't really care about the status of the car. So we tweaked our systems to allow this search across all inventory - including sold and deleted vehicles.
Added Deleted Date
Deleted Date now shown |
Our support team has fielded numerous phone calls from Internet Managers over the past months asking, "When were my vehicles deleted?!" In turn, Support asked our product managers why we don't show that information in AIMS. The simple answer was, "We didn't realize it mattered so much." So the development team quickly added the date and time someone (or something, in the case of a polling job) deleted the inventory item, and everyone is happy.
